What it does
Sell an individual unit by scanning its own code.
What it does
- Keeps a list of your units: each one's unique code, its item, its batch, and whether it is Available or Sold.
- When a cashier scans a unit's code, the till adds that item, with its batch, to the sale.
- A unit marked Sold is refused at the till.
How to set it up
- In Desk, open IVENDNEXT UNC Unit and add your units: each one's unique code, its item and, if it has one, its batch. Stock Managers can add and edit them.
- In Desk, open Retail Scan Source, open IVENDNEXT UNC Units and tick Enabled. It installs switched off, and the till ignores it until you do.
- If you want each sale line to keep the scanned code, choose one of your active line attributes under Record the code as in the same record.
Good to know
- Selling a unit does not mark it Sold by itself: mark it Sold in Desk, or connect a service that does.
- With Record the code as set, the till also refuses a unit already booked on a sale, and keeps the line to one unit of its own batch.
- Nothing leaves your shop.
