What it does

What it does
- Runs in the browser on rugged Android handhelds and on phones and tablets.
- Posts to the same stock records the rest of iVendNext uses.
- It needs a live connection: it has no offline mode.
How to set it up
- In Desk, open each person's User record. Tick Is Desk User and Is POS User, fill Default Shift Profile and give them the stock roles they need.
- On the same User, set Retail Permission to Handheld Operator (Handheld Manager for a supervisor).
- On the Cashier Settings tab, add a row under Allow Access to Stores for each store the person works in, with its POS Profile.
- On each device, open your site's /handheld address in the browser and add it to the home screen. Sign in, tap Choose my store and pick the store.
Good to know
- It is not a till: it takes no payment.
- Your partner adds it to your site.
- Used by

Unit codes at the scan
Scan a unit's own code to sell that unit with its batch; a unit marked Sold is refused (marking it Sold is the shop's step, or a connected service's).
