What it does
Send a sales order's lines to a picker with one button.
What it does
- A Stock User or Stock Manager presses Assign pick route on a submitted sales order, chooses a picker and a priority, and a pick task opens with the order's lines in walking order.
- The task is listed under the order. Pressing again from the same dialog opens the same task. Nothing on the order changes.
How to set it up
- Make the app's user: tick Is Desk User, give it the role IVENDNEXT PCK Integration alone (the install makes it) and save. Then generate its API key (on the user, Settings, Generate Keys).
- On the feed registration IVENDNEXT PCK Pick feed, choose that user as its Application User and save. Then, in the App library, open the app's Details and press Connect again.
- In Retail Extension Subscription, open Pick route service (installed off): read what it is sent, tick the consent and switch it on.
- In Retail Desk Action, open Assign pick route and switch it on. Stock Users and Stock Managers find it in the Warehouse menu of a submitted sales order still to deliver.
Good to know
- Each press sends the order's name, customer, warehouse, delivery date and lines, the picker, the priority, the user who pressed (email addresses) and their language to pick-route.ivendnext.app, hosted by CitiXsys. It keeps none of it.
- Connect again sends the service the app user's API key and the service's signing secret; it keeps them until you remove the app.
- Lines are ordered by warehouse, then item, not by bin. One press takes up to 20 orders. Until Connect again sends the user's key, a press says the app is not set up yet.
