What it does
The server types the room and surname on the check. A wrong room is stopped at Pay, and the charge reaches the guest's bill within about a minute.
What it does
- At Pay the app asks your hotel system for the guest. A room it cannot confirm dims the Room Charge tile, with the reason, so the guest can still pay by card.
- After the sale the app posts the sale's Room Charge share to the guest's bill, once per sale, and keeps the hotel's reference. A split posts only its share; a return posts a negative line.
- Your night auditor reads what is posted, waiting and refused in Desk, and marks each refused charge done with a note.
- Connects to Mews. A partner connects other hotel systems from our free starter.
How to set it up
- Make the Room Charge tile first, with its own clearing account: the guide shows how.
- Fill IVENDNEXT RMC Settings, one row per store: hotel system, connection, charge code, tip code. Give your night auditor IVENDNEXT RMC Auditor.
Good to know
- The sale is recorded first and the bill follows, so a charge the hotel refuses waits on the auditor's list.
- At Pay and after the sale, the room, the guest's surname, the amounts, the receipt number and any tip go through room-charge.ivendnext.app to your hotel system. It keeps nothing.
- Free to install. It runs every minute, which needs a hosting plan: CitiXsys carries that plan's charge for this app. A partner who hosts a copy carries the charge for the copy.
