What it does
The selling app, laid out for a phone, a tablet or the counter.
What it does
- One app for the phone, the tablet and the counter, each with its own layout.
- Works with the hardware, loyalty and payment apps your site has.
How to set it up
- In Desk, open each seller's User record: tick Is POS User, fill Retail Permission and Default Shift Profile, and add a row under Allow Access to Stores for each store with its POS Profile. The Username is the seller's Associate ID.
- Search Desk for POS Terminal and add one till for each counter or phone: its name, company and store.
- On each phone, tablet or counter, open your site's address followed by /pos in the browser and add it to the home screen. The address must be secure (HTTPS); your partner sets that up.
- Sign in with the Associate ID. A seller with no PIN yet chooses Use your password instead and sets a PIN under Preferences. Then choose a till from the free ones and start the day.
Good to know
- Your partner adds it to your site, with the iVendNext POS engine it runs on.
- Used by
- Cashier, Store manager

Counter hardware
Connects the counter's cash drawer, receipt printer and customer pole display to the till. Set up each counter once in Desk; the counter's computer runs QZ Tray.
Click and collect
A Desk board for the web orders a store must pick and hand over: the web orders still to pick, and on each delivery note who collected it. Nothing leaves your shop.
Coupon rules
Rules for your own coupons, checked at Pay: a coupon for a customer's first purchase only, or only for customers in one group. The cashier sees why a coupon is refused, removes it and pays. A coupon with no rule passes while the app's setup is right.
Till field rules
Your own words and fields on the till, with no code: Product for the item name, Stars for points, no email field, a phone required. The rules are rows of a till theme you save as IVENDNEXT FLD Till.
