Pressing Book on a reservation that overlaps another: Front of house refuses, names the booking that holds the table and says what to do next.

What it does

Take bookings and walk-ins in Desk; one press seats the party and opens its table's check on the till.

What it does

Book holds a table and refuses a booking that overlaps another; Change booking, No-show and Cancel booking release it.
Seat opens the check at the table with the party's size: never a table booked within their stay, nor one with an open check unless you allow it. Pressed twice, one check.
Walk-ins wait in order; Table ready sends your own SMS. A booking names the till sale that took its deposit.
Guests' names and phones are read only by IVENDNEXT FOH Host and System Manager, never by the app.

How to set it up

On the user ivendnext_foh@integration.invalid: tick Is POS User, choose a Shift Profile, link a Retail Permission with only open a check and see the checks, add the store and its register (Table Service on), Save, then Generate Keys.
Give IVENDNEXT FOH Host to your hosts, with Read on Retail Floor Place and Select on Warehouse, POS Invoice and Customer. Fill IVENDNEXT FOH Settings per store.
Switch on the five services and six buttons; press Connect again if asked.
Table ready: SMS Settings, then a Notification on IVENDNEXT FOH Waitlist Entry, by SMS to phone.

Good to know

Each press sends the record's name, the user and the language to front-of-house.ivendnext.app (CitiXsys); it reads bookings without guests' details, opens checks through your till, and keeps nothing of a press.
A deposit stays on the guest's money on file: charge it on account at payment, then match it in Payment Reconciliation.
Never give the app's user write on Floor Section. Before removing the app, pay or close its checks.
