Expiry and recall
A recalled lot blocked at every online till at once, its stock and customers found, disposal only with the regulator's visit on record, short-dated deliveries refused at goods-in.
What it does
Recalls, quarantine, disposal and goods-in for stock sold by lot and expiry date.
What it does
- Block these batches on a recall notice: the lots are off every online till at once; each store's stock and, at consumer depth, the customers supplied are found and listed.
- Disposal of a scheduled item only with a Disposal Record of the regulator's visit (officer, authority, date, signed form), locked once recorded, and drawn only up to its lines.
- A goods receipt refused when a lot has fewer days left than your minimum, unless a Letter of Undertaking with its days covers it; ERP receipts flagged, not refused.
- An expiry worklist per store, and the lots with no expiry date.
How to set it up
- Your partner installs the app on your site and connects it to the service they host for you.
- Your partner makes the app's own user, with the app's integration role alone and the rights its guide lists: read on items, lots and sales, write on Batch.
- Fill the app's settings: your time zone, minimum shelf life, quarantine stores, your ERP connector's own users and the recall clocks.
- Give the Recall Officer role to whoever runs recalls, then switch on the five services (read what each is sent, consent), the two buttons and the five save rules.
Good to know
- Your partner's service is sent notices' lots, worklists, and receipts', stock entries' and counts' items and lots. A recall at consumer depth reads the names of customers who bought the lot onto your notice; the service keeps nothing.
- While the service is down, receipts, stock entries and counts wait, an ERP's stock sync too. A lot with no expiry date is not blocked: enter the pack's date, then press again. An offline till keeps a blocked lot until it syncs.
