What it does
Take card payments at the till on a Stripe Terminal reader.
What it does
- The reader is connected over the internet; no driver runs on the till's own device.
- Every payment is recorded in iVendNext and can be recovered if a connection drops mid-payment.
- It takes card payments on sales at the iVendNext POS.
How to set it up
- In Desk, open Payment Account and add one: its display name, Provider (Stripe Terminal), company, currency and environment (test or live). The currency must match your Stripe account's country.
- In its credential values add a row for secret_key, tick Secret and paste your Stripe key into Secret value.
- On the account, add a terminal: its label, the till and the reader's tmr_ id from Stripe's dashboard.
- Open Payment Connection and add one for the account, press Test connection, then a user with the Payment Approver role presses Go live.
- On the till's POS Profile, add the payment method Go live created and also Credit Card (without Credit Card the till has no card button), then take a small card sale.
