What it does
See every line sold below its price list by more than your threshold.
What it does
- After each sale is booked, a sold line charged below its list price by more than your threshold is recorded as a deviation, usually within a minute.
- A System Manager or Retail Manager reviews the deviations in Desk: a report, largest deviation first, and a count card.
How to set it up
- In Role Permissions, give the role IVENDNEXT PDA Integration (the install makes it) read on POS Invoice and on Sales Invoice.
- Make the app's user: tick Is Desk User, give it that role alone and save. Then generate its API key (on the user, Settings, Generate Keys).
- On the feed registration IVENDNEXT PDA Feed, choose that user as its Application User, tick POS Invoice and Sales Invoice, and save. Then, in the App library, open the app's Details and press Connect again.
- To change the threshold from 10, a System Manager makes the IVENDNEXT PDA Settings record Default and sets Threshold.
- Open the IVENDNEXT PDA Deviation list, or its Report view, IVENDNEXT PDA Deviations Largest First.
Good to know
- Your feed names each booked sale; price-audit.ivendnext.app, hosted by CitiXsys, reads it whole with the app's user: the customer's name, any tax ID, phone, email, address or loyalty points, and the cashier's user. It keeps none of it. Nothing in your sales or prices changes.
- A return is checked only for the items it sells (an exchange). A discount on the whole sale, the day's roll-up of till sales, and sales booked before you tick the feed are not checked.
